I was a little bit hasty telling here that Nvidia Tegra Note 7 (by EVGA, or HP Slate 7 Extreme) is a better deal than Dell Venue 8 Pro. It was at a time when Dell Venue 8 Pro was selling at $299. Sure, with some searches one could find this Windows 8 tablet for less, plus luckiest ones could get it for $99, a fire sale price. A $249 was the best price that has stabilized after Christmas. One needs also to spend about $25...$30 for stylus which is sold separately.
The stylus problem of Dell Venue 8 Pro lingered for quite a long time. It doesn't look like the "pigtails" line endings are eliminated entirely in new, improved styli:
