My OEM stylus for Fujitsu T5010 has arrived. It cost me $27, with inclusion of 5 spare tips and with free S$H.
It works like a charm out of a box. Except for eraser in GIMP/MyPaint, or I just failed to configure it:
There are still sour sides of my Fujitsu T5010. One of the worst nagging features of the model is lack of additional landscape mode. For me, a "180" orientation is not an "additional", or "secondary" one, it's simply main one: I just hate power adapter cable/cord, Ethernet cable, etc. pushing to my belly in Fujitsu approved landscape mode. For the time being, I just updated Intel graphics Fujitsu driver by genuine Intel driver which has all the orientations. My needed "180" orientation became manually selectable, but pretty tedious job of setting Magick Rotate/MS register editing and getting correect configuration for auto rotation sensor and switch will wait: I need to go Full Monty first with this tablet: 4 or 8 GB of RAM, 32- or 64-bit Windows 7 Professional, a cheapo 64GB SATA II SSD, Ubuntu Studio, or Xubuntu, or ArtistX for dual boot.
Oh, and then there's this Halloween tonight:
I suggested that kids would try to scare me, or something on this one. Smaller kids don't get it.
Now, the smallest trick-or-treater got scared him/herself:
All in all, mixed results today.
