But in the US iPads allow phone calls over Wi-Fi and Data using an an apple feature called iCloud Calling. It links the iPad to my cell phone number and allows me to make outgoing and receive incoming even if my phone is turned off or hundreds of miles away. Just FYI. I use it daily.

My phone (Textnow crappy one) will be turned off and hundreds miles away, sure. So, I'm interested.
