Delusional Trump makes "dealusional" deals:
At a press conference today, President Donald Trump issued a four-word threat to China, explaining they 'have to make a deal' otherwise, 'we're going to set the deal.'
Trump made the comments as he addressed the economic situation at hand during a ceremonial swearing-in of Paul Atkins as chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, in the Oval Office, which followed the White House's 'narcissistic ' five-word tribute to the Pope.
"We'll see what happens, but ultimately they have to make a deal because otherwise they're not going to be able to deal in the United States, so we want them involved, but they have to, and other countries have to make a deal, and if they don't make a deal, we'll set the deal because we're the ones that set the deal, Scott [Bessent], and Howard [Lutnick], and myself and others," Trump said, which comes after he was branded the 'dumbest president ever' for a shocking 6-word geography comment.

"We're going to be setting the deal and it'll be a fair deal for everybody and I think it's a process that's going to go pretty quickly. We've spoken to many, many countries, and we're getting their views on things, you know, there are a lot of things. They have VAT taxes. They have everything you can have. Don't forget, as an example, the European Union was set up to take advantage of the United States. That's why it was set up, and they've done that, but they're not doing that anymore," Trump continued.
The U.S. is now looking at 245% tariffs on some Chinese products coming in, representing both Trump's new and old tariff hikes on the country.
Users reacted to the word-salad rant in surprise. “If they don’t make a deal, we’ll set the deal” sounds like something a toddler says while negotiating bedtime with a juice box. Truly remarkable how every sentence feels like it was ghostwritten by a malfunctioning Magic 8-Ball," wrote one.
And X user quipped, "How are those empty threats going?" While another wondered, "how might the U.S. set its own deal if an agreement is not reached?"

Later at the same event, he has no plans to fire Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, just days after his statement that he would like to terminate the head of the U.S. central bank caused a stock market selloff. “I have no intention of firing him,” Trump told reporters.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has been slammed on social media after a photo of himself seemingly showing children a trading card of himself shortly after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. In the photo, Trump is seen grimacing as he holds a plastic case containing the card.
The bizarre moment was captured during the White House's Easter Egg Roll on Monday as the 47th president colored with kids attending the event. However, several social media users were not happy with the president's move.Related video: Trump insists that China 'ultimately' has to make a deal (FOX News)

That's the real King Donald's talk! Four-worded threats to every country out there with four-lettered words.
No wonder Musk is nowhere near Trump now, and his little boy can't be seen near Trump either.
Asked whether he’d ultimately drop the tariffs he’s imposed on Chinese imports, Trump replied: "It'll come down substantially. But it won't be zero."
People on social media have been quick to criticise Trump’s tactics throughout the entire trade war – referencing his book The Art of the Deal and accusing him of being completely shown up by China in the negotiations.
One social media user posted a mocked-up picture of Trump and China's President Xi Jinping playing poker - it shows Trump go "all-in", before Xi Jinping calls and forces Trump to fold.
"He went from bombastic on his trade war to admitting he's not going to play hardball," another user wrote.
"China is winning by not doing anything and simply waiting. Trump master tariff war is exploding in his face. This is the art of the deal," user Cyrus Janssen wrote.
"Trump is folding to China. Art of the deal," another wrote.
