I have found a John L. Stephens book "Incidents of Travel in Central America, Chiapas and Yucatan" this morning it was thrown away for whatever reason. A fine book, a reprint of 1843 first edition.
Now there are more wonderful books following this one.
Mine was just a volume I of those "Incidents"
