HP EliteBook 6930p Repairs, Part I

Replacement keyboard has just arrived, so three keyboard screws unscrewed, two tape connectors disconnected, and a new keyboard was installed:
It was like this. Now it's fine.


What is not fine, is this:

Chances are, it's motherboard: some capacitor(s) died. Bad contacts/connectors, bad inverter cannot be excluded though. When replacing keyboard, I pulled and pushed back some connectors that were right under the keyboard, but no luck.

Waiting for the replacement mobo.....
