We didn't go to Capitola beaches to do treasure hunts of those plastic red-and white balls filled with $20 bills yesterday, for student graduation parties. Nor we did it today. That's OK, though I could really use some extra cash today:
These treasures are what my $24 could buy me. Three ancient volumes of 1888, 1904, and 1922 depict detailed history and biographies of Santa Clara County peoples that deserved their biographies back then. I can part with these for no less than $750 for a set, or $300 a single book.
Logitech Solar BT keyboard for iPad. Got it for virtually pennies, and it works fine with my ASUS VivoTab 8, after some nudging:
Tablet cradle format is wrong, but I will cut through some rubber to accommodate for the charging cord, and everything will be fine.
An UPDATE on that keyboard: standard Windows 8.1 driver has some sort of quirk: at some point, tablet switches to text-to-speech mode, and using an Esc button turns off either touch or keyboard connect. Need to investigate further, as I like this iOS-centric keyboard much better than what is recommended for my VivoTab.
This is where I need to put my VivoTab in, aftersewing in a solar BT keyboard. Natural leather, what else you may ask for $15?
Capitola northern plaza with its BestBuy is a home of local hot rod/antique car enthusiasts. They go together there every Sunday, then drive around like pan Kozlevich: Эх, прокачу!
A genuine (by Gold Prospectors Association of America) small pan
A golden ring with 4 little diamonds in it is just my joke. Or an omen of things to come, when my lady gets a good metal finder for her roaming habit about the Central California beaches.
