Yota Phone Concept

It's not really a breaking news, and the new Russian Yota phone concept was demoed several weeks ago. The acceptance was good on average, but with no carriers in US showing any interest the US prospects for dual screen phones of Yota design are unclear at the moment.

Many times over, previous demonstrations of Yota phone fail to hit major points, its raison d'etre, so to speak. One of them, if not the main, is weeks of work without recharging. The following demo by Charbax makes a better job:

Apparently, all it takes is let the presenter, head of Yota Devices speak.

Concept of dual (color and monochrome E-Ink) screens for phones is nothing new though:

While E-Ink has very slim chances to push its concept into the major phone manufacturers' programmes, an expected spread of Yota phone in Russia and Europe may bring some changes. I doubt you'd see some Samsung Galaxy Duals soon, but ZTE, Huawei, Pantech and other lower tier could be all open to embrace the concept.

Nota bene, I don't bring any Yota phone hardware specs, they are quite irrelevant.
