It's basically this new feature that is supposed to tie up Google Maps and Street View seamlessly. Well, I have no idea how good or bad this feature would work on an ordinary Chromebook (especially on ARM Chromebook) but on my Acer C7 64 bit Chrubuntubook with 8 GB of RAM it works almost flawlessly:
